FAQs
Are you located in Noble Park?
We’re based in Noble Park North and welcome families from Noble Park and surrounding suburbs (Keysborough, Springvale, Dandenong, Dandenong North, Dandenong South, Mulgrave). Many families choose Montessori Steps for our calm environment and the Montessori program.
What ages do you cater for?
We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years, including babies, toddlers and kindergarten-age children.
What makes Montessori Steps different?
Montessori Steps was the first Montessori-based early learning centre in Noble Park. We’re also a small-capacity centre by deliberate choice, and our educators have an average tenure of 7 years – offering stability, deeper relationships, and more personalised care.
What does “small capacity by choice” mean?
We intentionally don’t operate at full capacity, so educators can give children more individual attention, maintain a calm learning environment, and partner closely with families.
Do you offer kindergarten (3-year-old and 4-year-old)?
Yes. We offer Victorian kindergarten programs guided by qualified educators and aligned with the VEYLDF, delivered in a way that reflects Montessori principles.
Do you offer CCS and Free Kinder / ESK?
Yes. Eligible families may access Child Care Subsidy (CCS), and we support Victorian Free Kinder fee relief and Early Start Kindergarten (ESK) where applicable. Ask us and we’ll help you understand what may apply to your child.
What will my out-of-pocket cost be?
Our fees are clearly listed [here] – we’re fully transparent. Your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your child’s booked days, the number of children enrolled, your CCS/Free Kinder entitlements (if eligible), and any applicable discounts.
Share your preferred days and start date with our friendly team and we’ll provide a clear, personalised fee breakdown, including any subsidies and discounts.
Do you have vacancies?
Availability can change across age groups. The quickest way to confirm is to enquire with your child’s age, preferred days, and ideal start date.
How do you support settling-in and wellbeing?
We take a calm, individual approach with predictable routines, strong educator-child relationships, and clear communication with families; helping children feel safe, secure, and ready to learn.
